OUR STORY
Dreams of The Pad originated during years of avid traveling & living abroad…a collection of every superb amenity and idea we witnessed in lodging throughout the world. From South America to Africa, Europe and beyond, our adventurous lifestyle eventually settled us in Silverthorne, Colorado’s active mountain community.
WE ARE LYNNE AND ROB BAER
We find great importance in not only living somewhere, but making a contribution. Our roles as active members of the Summit County Chamber of Commerce & the Summit County Rotary Club have created a solid foundation of community support that we want to continue expanding upon; our commitment to making a positive impact further exemplified by The Pad’s pending B Corp Status.
From its inception, The Pad was approached with a values-first mentality. We started with deconstruction & upcycling efforts, continued with forward-thinking & expansive eco-conscious plans, and are being careful not to overlook any detail, all the way from the exterior shell to linens & toiletries. At our core, we fundamentally believe in sustainability, and are being as thoughtful and intentional as possible with all decisions.
We hope The Pad will not only be a launching point of adventure for our guests, but a community gathering spot for locals alike. We have created a place for people to craft new experiences and acquaintances, and can’t wait to share it with you.
